Retail Systems Forum

The last Retail Systems Forum was held on 21st April at the Williams F1 Conference centre in Oxfordshire.

The theme for the event was ‘Why invest in in-store technology’ focusing on the real business case for new IT systems. Presentations addressed issues such as how to conduct a completing ROI study including system strategy, business change and system selection.

An audience of over 100 retailers from a variety of market sectors benefited from hardware updates from industry experts and the opportunity to network with fellow retailers.

They heard how Marks and Spencer increased efficiency with a new mobile solution from cash Bases and how the Co-op integrated a solution to maximise their current hardware technology. 

An interactive feedback session followed the presentations then attendees enjoyed the opportunity to tour the famous Williams F1 museum.

The Retail Systems Forum is supported by major suppliers to the retail industry, including Box Technologies, EPSON, Metrologic and Cash Bases who are major sponsors of the event. It gives retailers a valuable opportunity to hear how different in-store solutions have benefited fellow retailers.
