Elf meets new challenge with Box Technologies and Arciris

In order to remain competitive in the petrol "forecourt wars" Elf developed a customer loyalty scheme that required the implementation of an advanced EPoS system. The company chose to invest in a system based upon Epson's touch screen based Intelligent Register, designed to integrate all aspects of its retail operations and maximise the sales potential of its forecourts in the UK.

The contract for supplying a new EPos systems was awarded to Arciris who chose Box Technologies to carry out all systems integration work and on site installation. Throughout the 3-month project installation were completed in 100 of Elf's forecourt stores in the UK.

Martin McCarthy, Property Services Manger for Elf explained, "We wanted a system which offered very high levels of performance and functionality, but which also minimised the need for staff training. The solution from Arciris and Box, running on an Epson platform is the perfect combination."
