Retail Eyes

Retail Eyes creates unique mystery shopping programmes that inspire and excite retail service delivery teams. to give great service, which in turn leads to increased customer retention and transforms customers in to advocates for your business. Completing compliance-led audits using pen and paper was time consuming, inefficient and susceptible to human error. Not only did auditors spend an unnecessarily long time completing reports on site, but reports then had to be manually input into a custom computer program back at the office.

Overview

The key challenge for Retail Eyes was choosing a rugged tablet PC with a large screen, but one whose glass was designed to protect against accidents that cause display damage, such as drinks spillages. It needed a system designed specifically for field service. Due to the nature of its work environment, the machine also had to feature a sealed design that was easily cleaned and disinfected with standard cleansers. The computer had to be fully rugged yet lightweight because auditors complete reports while standing and walking and the display needed to offer a bright viewing experience while being tough and scratch resistant. Another essential requirement was built-in camera for report generation providing exact images to reinforce messages, enhance attractiveness and illustrate specific points.

Taking all these requirements into account Retail Eyes invested in twenty-four Motion F5 tablet PC's to help speed up and secure the audit process, as well as improve the effectiveness of audits by intergrating digital photography as part of the process. The Motion F5 tablet PCs were supplied and supported by Box Technologies.
